Our approach at ASC Psychological Services is rooted in the belief that you are a whole person and that we treat you as such when addressing your mental health care needs. People come to us with unique perspectives and experiences. That’s why we see, treat, and support people as the individual that they are − not a diagnosis or symptom.
This whole person-centered approach also means we match people with a provider based on their needs and their expertise. They will help you identify and clarify your problems, figure out the cause of them, and understand how to process them.
Community impact
Since our founding in 1972, we have helped thousands of individuals and families in Mankato, the Twin Cities, and regions beyond through individual therapy and marriage and family counseling. To meet the needs of our community, we have a team of providers with a deep understanding of trauma and the ability to treat it. We serve clients experiencing responses to adverse life events.
Our team of providers serves the whole community. Some of our providers further specialize in therapeutic services for Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, First Responders, and in domestic violence programming.

We are SAM-registered for federal contracts as a minority- and disabled American Veteran-owned company, with on-site facilities in a HUB zone. Out of the three owners, two are women.
ASC Psychological Services has become a trusted mental health resource not only for our clients and their families but also for many professionals in Mankato, Roseville, Southern Minnesota, the Twin Cities Metro area, and other parts of the state.
We receive referrals from social workers, probation officers, county case managers, child protection workers, doctors, lawyers, and other professionals. Courts, attorneys, human services organizations, and government agencies turn to us for a broad range of treatment services, assessments and evaluations, forensic evaluations, and expert testimony.
